The regular version of the M3 already has a number of slimming measures, including a carbon fiber roof, but BMW wants to further reduce the quality of the GTS, after all, the GTS aims to break the old M3 CSL's Nurburgring lap record. So the new M3 GTS was replaced with smarter racing seats and a titanium exhaust drum, the air conditioning system, navigation system, sound system and rear seats were removed, and the rear windscreen was replaced with Macrolon polycarbonate. The all-new BMW M3 GTS has a final finish mass of 1490 kg, 190 kg less than the regular M3 coupe.
